SWIR: Chapter One: Shit.

Kevin’s P.O.V.

“Finally Summer time and the burning up tour”-Joe smiled pumping his fist in the air.
Nick nodded and sent Joe on of his signature smile’s that makes me melt.

“Yeah and more babes”-Nick say’s high-fiveing Joe.
I felt my smile quickly turn into a frown and Joe seemed to notice. He looked over at me and gave a sympathetic look. Joe was the only one who knew about me being in love with Nick. At first he was a tad disgusted and freaked out, but you know love is love. He got used to me talking about Nick and venting to him.

“Hey Nick go check if mom needs some help with Frankie, I need to talk to Kevin.”-Joe said to Nick.

“Oh, um…sure…”-Nick said in a cute confused tone. As he got up I couldn’t help but stare at him walk out. Joe obviously noticed.

“Kev, stop staring at his ass”-Joe said smiling and I laughed “Kevin…are you okay?” He honestly felt bad for me I could tell. I mean how would you feel if you had to listen to the one you love talk about his other crushes all day?

“Joe, I’m fine, I’m glad you care and that I can talk to you, but I have to deal. Nick will never like me the way I like him. I should just move on”-I said as I felt a warm tear running down my cheek. Joe immediately got up and pulled me into a tight embrace. I soon started sobbing into his chest staining his shirt with my tears. He just hugged me tighter and rubbed his hand in soothing circles on my back…

“Kev, shh don’t say that. There’s a chance for everything, okay?”-Joe said pulling out of the hug. I wiped away some stray tears and nodded.

“Thanks Joe, really for everything. I love you man”-I said smiling a little. He raised an eyebrow suspiciously. I laughed. “Nonsexually haha”

“Just checking haha”-He laughed. “Well Kevin you should go take a shower to get cleaned up, and I’ll see you in the morning.”-He said getting up as I nodded. “Goodnight”

“Goodnight”-I whispered after he was gone.

Joe’s P.O.V.

Man, do I feel bad for Kevin. He really loves Nick, yeah it’s kinda weird and different, but love is love right? You can’t fight it. I quietly shut the door and turned down the hall, just to come face to face with Nick…

“Whoa Nick you scared me, what are you doing down here!?”-I asked nervously. He shifted uneasily…

“I heard Joe, the conversation you and Kevin had”-My jaw dropped. I was sure Kevin didn’t want Nick knowing, at least not now.

“How much did you hear?”-I asked awkwardly. He looked me in the eyes.

“All of it”-He stated looking down. I looked back at the door to the room Kevin was in and then to Nick.

“Shit”
